I just downloaded Rainmeter and am going through the tutorials on the site to learn how to use it. I've created the first System Monitor skin in the tutorial. When the tutorial said I could go to the tray icon menu and find the skin under "Skins". Mine isn't showing up there. I clicked "Refresh All", more than once, and nothing changed. I can't even see it in the "Manage" window when I open that. All I see is "illustro" that came with the download.
I created a new folder and .ini on the following path:
C:\Users\Mine\Documents\Rainmeter\Skins\training\SysMon\SysMon.ini
What am I missing?

Re: Skin not showing in tray icon menu
Try fully exiting Rainmeter by right clicking the tray icon and selecting exit, and then restart Rainmeter. Does this help?

Un-hide the common known extensions and delete the .txt from the end of the file extension.

Nope. I tried clicking Refresh All again too. The file path I listed is correct, right? I feel like I messed that up somehow but don't see how I could have.

Yes the file path listed is correct. Try what KreAch3R said in his post. This is most likely the problem

Re: Skin not showing in tray icon menu
It's a very common rookie mistake, that all users with hidden extensions make in the beginning. Welcome to Rainmeter.wivicker wrote:Thanks, KreAch3r! Boneheaded mistake.
