Can you confirm that you have Rainmeter 2.3.2 installed (right-click on the notification area/tray icon -> About -> Version)?

If you don't have 2.3.2 installed, download it and give it a shot. Do not install the test build below before trying 2.3.2.

If you already have 2.3.2 installed, can you try this test build?

That message box is displayed by Windows (and not Rainmeter), so there is nothing we can do about it.

uhoh - now everything has slowed down to basically a halt with the new poiru build :(

ie. right click, wait 10 seconds for menu to come up, press icon wait 10 seconds for it to register etc etc

so got rid of recycle bin code and everything is back to normal - so in fact i think it made things worse.. runinng vista by the way

edit - although it did seem to get rid of error messages but just unbearable to run

Could you join the #rainmeter IRC channel? It would be easier to sort things out there.

Was about to report a new error, now when I removed a memory-card - but again, it seems like this new test-version helped... :great:

After i had installed 2.3.2 i still had the error but when i restarted my computer it was gone.
Now i'm on 2.3.3 and i got no more errors at all.
Win7 64bit

ps: rainmeter used to almost freeze if i empty a big bin (ex 10gb) it seems like that's gone too idk from what build
