The Release version 2.3 of Rainmeter is now available from
As usual, Rainmeter 2.3 is fully backwards compatible with skins written for any version of Rainmeter
You need only install on top of your existing installation.
No need to uninstall 2.2 or worry about overwriting changes you have made.

Update: We have released a minor update to version 2.3.1 to address a couple of very rare bugs on some systems. Please update to 2.3.1 at this time.

Did those bugs include, by any chance, problems with the Tooltip? I had one for a couple of days, I was trying to isolate it, but now I notice that it's gone.

I don't believe so. It was mostly some path issues with installing .rmskins.

Rainmeter.exe - No Disk error
\Device\Harddisk1\DR1
Occurs after plugging in USB mass storage and selecting "refresh all" from the menu.

Please get the updated 2.3.3 (r1522) version from
http://rainmeter.net . We are hopeful that this lingering issue is now fully resolved.
