[Suggestion] Button Attribute to Determine H/V Slicing

Post by Mr Random »

This has probably been suggested before, but I think that implementing a new attribute to decide whether button images are sliced vertically or horizontally would be amazing. The automated slicing based on width > height or vice versa is, for the most part, functional, but in instances where one wants to create buttons that are thin, an issue arises. This just happened to me, and the reason for me posting this: I tried to create a button that, when sliced, would create a 20x100 px state. Unfortunately the slicer didn't see it that way :D .

You tried to place them one next to the other, didn't you? Try it vertically. That means, start with a canvas of 25 x 315 (20 + 5 | (100 + 5) x 3). I suggest 5 pixels for the spaces, but you can alter that.

Yes, that idea also came to my mind as I was falling asleep last night. Thank you!
