You are going to love this.
Cairo was Microsoft's codename for NT 4.0
They wanted to have NT 3.1 integrated with the Win 95 GUI. :lol:

Coincidence? Or the same thing? 'Cause this is what I was talking about and it *seems* they are still planning a release sometime in Q3 2087.... :lol:

I used Cairo for approximately 6 to 7 months a little less than a year ago, after i found one of their milestone builds floating around on thepiratebay. I personally loved it, the "few menus" were completely customizable, so that you could set your folder hierarchy however you wanted it. It looked a lot cleaner then explorer, and i liked the file manager a lot more as well.

Ultimately, it has a very extended development cycle, and I don't know if we'll ever see the full version, or if it will be something our kids get to enjoy.

Either way, neat stuff, I check on it once ever 3 months or so. lol.
