So, i used to have a great rainmeter background, customized and everything.
I recently reformatted, lost it all, and am trying to redo it.
However, with this newest edition of rainmeter it seems way more difficult to customize.
When i created my desktop before, I remember a pretty user friendly system for customization, with menus and such, no notepad involved.
Now, when i attempt to edit a skin, it just opens up notepad with a bunch of what seems like code to me, which I have no idea how to edit.
My question is: is this really how the new rainmeter works? if so, why? and is there something I am missing when it comes to editing skins...I am completely lost when it comes to making what I want to happen happen in notepad.
Thanks.

Re: editing skins question
Rainmeter has always been notepad-driven. Perhaps you had some skins that provided more user-friendly settings options but that's skin-specific. Not all skins provide this kind of interaction.
Have more fun creating skins with Sublime Text 2 and the Rainmeter Package!
