Sorry, I just assumed you were confused as "peek" has always worked for me with Rainmeter in Win7. I am on 32bit Pro, and who knows, there may be a difference, but I don't believe so. What version of Rainmeter are you using?shermanramni wrote: No, it doesn't. At least not in my 7 Pro x64. I ask you to read carefully next time.

Can you install the latest beta at http://rainmeter.googlecode.com/files/Rainmeter-1.1-r223-64bit-beta.exe and tell me if peek still doesn't work for you? (feel free to back up your entire Program Files\Rainmeter folder if you don't want to stay with a beta, but it is very solid and adds some nice features)shermanramni wrote:1.0 rev 163 (64-bit version).

Will do as soon as I get home. Thanks for all your help, jsmorley.jsmorley wrote:Can you install the latest beta at http://rainmeter.googlecode.com/files/Rainmeter-1.1-r223-64bit-beta.exe and tell me if peek still doesn't work for you?
EDIT: 1.1-r223 now keeps my config on the desktop when using Aero Peek. And that's a GREAT improvement. Show Desktop minimizes it, though.
Re: Rainmeter 1.0 still didn't fix the Win7 Show Desktop problem
Actually show desktop does not minimize anything.
What happens is that the Desktop is maneuvered to the top of the Aero shell.
Being that the desktop in the Aero's shell is not actually the desktop, the desktop you see is actually in front of all other applications, in the shell layer stack.
This is one of the things that we have been actively looking into , so that we may regain teh Place to Desktop option returned to Rainmeter.
