Re: NowPlaying plugin - Multiple Media Player Support
Hi There
I seem to be having trouble with my Now Playing plugin. I am currently using the music sidebar skin in enigma to display music from iTunes. When I start playing music, information like the song title, artist, and album name appears, but the album art and track timing does not. I asked Kaelri for help and he said it is most likely an issue with the NowPlaying plugin (and not Enigma). I downloaded Soita to confirm this, and it too displayed the song title, artist, and album name, but not the album art or track progression. I am, to the best of my knowledge running the most recent versions of both Rainmeter and Enigma.

Are you also running the most recent version of iTunes too?
Have more fun creating skins with Sublime Text 2 and the Rainmeter Package!

Re: NowPlaying plugin - Multiple Media Player Support
I have problems with setvolume relative.
SetVolume +10 sets the volume only to absolute value 10.
SetVolume -10 sets the volume only to absolute value 0.
Set Volume to relative values is damaged.
I tested this with foobar2000 and aimp3.
Rainmeter is the latest beta: 2.5.0 beta r1706 32-bit (Nov 25 2012)
XP SP3

This isn't working with iTunes 11.0.0.163 (the latest version) on Windows 7. But you probably already knew that.

I just upgraded to iTunes 11 myself and it seems to work fine. Could you try running the iTunes installer again?TheWalrus wrote:I can confirm this too. I just updated and its still not showing up. Any suggestions/fixes/updates/patches?
Works fine for me. Could you post your skin?bek88 wrote:I have problems with setvolume relative.

Found the error in my skin.
It was an invalid variable declaration.
SetVolume is working now

Re: NowPlaying plugin - Multiple Media Player Support
Still not working, but then again, I was having this problem with the album art and tracking before I upgraded (so the new iTunes probably isn't the issue for me). Something must be broken/missing from my NowPlaying plugin since its doing this with both Enigma and Soita. Is there way that I can re-install just the NowPlaying plugin and not the entire skin?poiru wrote: I just upgraded to iTunes 11 myself and it seems to work fine.
