Re: PerfMonPDH Performance Data Plugin

Post by Kolano »

Since the recent Rainmeter update I'm seeing this error from the PerfmonPDH plugin...

Code: Select all

Plugin: Unable to load "PerfMonPDH" (error 126) (Kolano\CPU\CPU.ini - [measureProcessor9])
That seems to have been due to the plug-in DLL being moved from...
C:\Program Files\Rainmeter\Plugins
...to...
C:\Program Files\Rainmeter\Defaults\Plugins

Unclear what did so, presumably the recent update; moving it back seems to resolve the issue.

That plugin should never have been anywhere in the C:\Program Files\Rainmeter folder in the first place. This is not the place where 3rd-party files go, this is Rainmeter's installation folder only.

The proper location for all 3rd-party DLLs is: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Rainmeter\Plugins.
