I was playing around with meters to change the volume and track position with Windows Media Player (WMP) and noticed that !RainmeterPluginBang "MeasurePlayer SetVolume 50" or !RainmeterPluginBang "MeasurePlayer SetPosition 50" crash Rainmeter completely if the player is inactive/closed (doesn't have to be 50, any value causes the crash).

Of course it would be no great problem to hide or disable the meters while the player is inactive but I just thought I'd mention it in case there is a neater work around.

I'll see what I can do. NowPlaying/libcad_plugin.dll work fine with VLC Portable (from PortableApps.com). You need to copy the libcad plugin into VLCPortable\App\vlc\plugins and follow the instructions to activate it. Or doesn't this work for you?

VLC portable works, I've missed one thing to get it to work...

I also have a question about playing radio with vlc. I open the radio's .pls file with vlc (vlc closed before that) and for a moment, VLC is displaying the ip and the port of the radio station (?) in it's Title, for 1 or 2 seconds, in this format: IP:PORT. After that the name of the station is correct. However, my skin is picking the IP:PORT as the result of the [mPlayer] measure. If I refresh the skin through right-click, it displays the name correctly. What should I do?

First off, thanks for the amazing plugin for Rainmeter

I would like to suggest another player request:

I know this isn't a popular media player, but I've been using it for years - and it's just unmatched in playback quality and performance.

I would love to see support for DaumPotPlayer( or KMPlayer) in the future.
