two solutions:
keep the Roundline meters.
but use multiple Roundline meters for the hours for example. for the round part the should be a little longer then the base part, but not fully opaque.
have a look at this old skin (all hands done with Roundline), it does not have round edges, but you'll get the idea. http://customize.org/rainmeter/skins/32537
or use Rotator meters. if you notice that the hands are off at 20-40 minutes/seconds (not easy to spot) then come back to this thread.

I did notice the images being off around the 20-40 minute mark. But honestly, the way rainmeter handles image AA is absolutely horrible and looks/works better with the RoundLine meters instead. So I have undid all that I have done and went back to just using the built in things from rainmeter. That was a shame as I was hoping that the AA was going to be better on the images than a roundline.
