I've tried installing rainmeter, and this pops up (I already know it's supposed to) what pass or username do I need to use?

Just right-click the installer and choose "Run as Administrator".

They should really do something about this. Almost any other application triggers the User Account Control automatically when installing.

Trust me, we've tried but failed to reproduce this issue in the past.

I do, and every other application I install pops up the UAC dialog. Rainmeter only does when I explicitly "Run as Administrator". (Win7 64bit here)

Ah, good that you have the issue Prior attempts to debug the issue have failed with the user disappearing, but that shouldn't be an issue with you.

I'll write some tests and post them here later on (if you're willing to help, that is). Hopefully we'll be able to sort it out.
