Skins not installing

Alright so I downloaded some new skins and when I go to install them it comes back with:

Invalid settings file in:
C:\Users\Alucard\Documents\Rainmeter\Skins\Robotic_Eye_.rmskin

The above is just an example but it does it with every skin I download and try to install.

You need to be sure you are on the latest release version of Rainmeter at http://rainmeter.net.

So basically just redownload it to update it?

If you are not on the 2.3.3 version (you can check About/Version from the context menu) then you should update by just downloading and installing.
