I'm new here, so sorry if I post here unnecessarily (tried to search the theme but without results...)
So: is it possible to make a skin that shows text or pics according to a program's status?
I'm thinking of Tor in this case. I'd like to see an indicator that tells me if the service is running, connecting or is offline.

Re: Following program status
I don't think so, unless Tor has a way to say its status to Rainmeter (via a plain log file for example) or someone creates a plugin for it.

I see.
Well, it is logging. Not sure what can I do with this info :/
And can I read if an .exe file is running or not? Just that? For example: with if action?

Maybe you can get some ideas from jsmorley's ActiveDock?AvernusTriad wrote:And can I read if an .exe file is running or not? Just that?

Re: Following program status
You can have Webparser plugin parse this log file for information about its status, if it has some standard pattern in it. Post some piece of the log file displaying the status, to give you more info on that. As for the .exe running, that is pretty easy, using the Process Plugin.AvernusTriad wrote:I see.
