Individual CPU activity with multiple cores?

Have done a search for this.... all I want is for an indication ( preferably TINY) always in view showing all cpu's (8) and total RAM, in Win 7 64 bit - Can rain meter do this please? Which skin? P.S. Ideally and preferably in the task bar or tray so it is independent of main windows.

Rainmeter can certainly do the sort of thing you are asking for, but the type of skin will depend on how you want to show the activity of each CPU core (as a text percentage, a bar graph, a line graph, a pie chart, etc.). Take a look at this part of the Rainmeter manual to decide what sort of meter you need. If you get stuck trying to code the sort of meter you want you can always come back here and I'm sure you'll find someone willing to help.
