notification tray opening?
Quick question - is there a way to pop open the notification tray in windows 7 with rainmeter? My skin can already pop open the start menu, and this is the last thing I need to be rid of the taskbar forever. Please help!

Re: notification tray opening?
You can certainly launch the sound control from the tray, you might be able expand on this?

Doesnt look like it. The notification tray is part of the shell, and the sound manager is its own program. For those who may be confused with what I'm talking about, this is the tray:

Maybe there is a shortcut we can run to pop it open? Any windows shell experts in the house?

You could use one of santa_ryan's tools, TrayPopup :

Maybe there is a NirCMD command.

I have used santa_ryan's tool for a long time and it's working perfectly. Only tiny hicups, which are always temporary (re-clicking does the trick). I also recommend that.
