Copyright Law on using images from films

Post by LuciferVisuals »

Hello all,

I'm new to Rainmeter, and in fact to computers, But worked out how to grab short sequences from films etc and build them into Rainmeter Skins. This raises the question of copyright, so I thought I would get the ball rolling with this, which I found very educational, and funny.

Having been an artist in a previous life (now retired) I can tell you that Disney has the most experienced, competent and aggressive copyright lawyers on the planet. The fact that this has been on You Tube for over ten years, Tends in my layman's opinion to indicate that the Video is not only amusing but is "PROBABLY" 100% correct, or they would have literally had it removed in seconds.

Obviously you should not just rely on this and take professional advice IF using others copyright works.
