Rainmeter Crash

Post by tass_co »

Hi

When i use a plugin (hotkey, mousexy etc), rainmeter crashing and I cant fix it.
I completely uninstalled Rainmeter and did a clean install, but it didn't work.
I thought it is due to C++ redist.
I reinstalled all packages but the problem persists (I installed on them).

Gif image shows my problem. When I press the hotkey, it shows Skin (MouseXY+Hotkey plugins). Rainmeter crashes when I press the hotkey again or press any key in the skin.
I think other plugins have the same problem. What I can observe: HWINFO, FileChoose, DragDrop

I can't reproduce this....I think. Honestly, I am not super clear on the "crash" from your gif.

There has been a lot of crashes reported lately, and I have fixed a few of those issues. Could you try this version?
https://builds.rainmeter.net/test_builds/Rainmeter-4.5.16.3681-prerelease.exe

Again, I am not sure if it fixes your issue.

If it does not, could you possibly post a very minimal list of instructions to reproduce the issue, as well as any relevant skin code.

Thanks.

Sorry for not fully explaining my problem.
I installed the version in the link you gave and I haven't encountered any errors for 15 minutes.
Thank you. Respects :great:
