Post by 3nd »

hi there , i searched around here but can't find a thread about this :
I've got my skins set up nicely and all that ,but when i log out or restart , i have to open the rainmeter thingy to make the skins appear again.
is there a way to make it come up auto when i login to my win10 acc.?

You might try re-installing the latest Rainmeter version from https://www.rainmeter.net and be sure to check the box:

Launch Rainmeter on startup

Can you do the following?

• Press WIN+R
• Type shell:common startup and hit ENTER
• In the opened folder place Rainmeter shortcut

Now try to logout and login. Is it showing now?

ok wait i see now it appears for all users on PC , is there a way for it to appear ONLY ON MY account when i login?

EDIT:
nevermind , found it

in file explorer don't go to program data, instead go to
C:- users - your username - appdata - roaming- microsoft - windows - startmenu - programs - startup

then place the shortcut there

thanks for the help

Yes, sorry, I thought you wanted to make it launch for all the users.
You figured it right - for every user you need to place individual shortcuts in the Startup folder.
You can access this folder with shell:startup

Yes, no need to keep the shortcut in the common startup folder. Just put it manually for every user's startup folder.

If you have Windows 10 or 11 you should be able to do that through control panel or task manager
