A few things, can you provide a link to the skin you are talking about and second how are you playing music with spotify? Webplayer or installed apps?

And also one thing the music player's timeline bar is not working some fix for it.
And yess I am playing it with installed app.

It is not possible as the app doesn't expose the current playing contents in anyway, yes, not even to Windows media flyout.
