Rainmeter just will not load. I've tried all the steps in the "Rainmeter is crashing! What do I do?" thread, but still getting the same behaviour.
When I try to run the app, nothing happens. In windows event viewer I see an entry for: Event 1000, application error:

I've attached screenshots of the event errors. I can't show anything else as nothing relating to the app shows up at all when I try to run it, Any help would be much appreciated.

Re: Cannot get Rainmeter to run after updating laptop to Windows 11
I know it's potentially not very helpful, but I just thought I'd mention that I've run Rainmeter v4.5.6 under Windows 11 with no problems.
Always sure, sometimes right.

Re: Cannot get Rainmeter to run after updating laptop to Windows 11
Running older versions didn't help, so in the end I had to uninstall, trawl through the registry and C:\ drive and delete any reference to "rainmeter". Gave the laptop a reboot and then reinstalled, and yay it's working again
