The mediakey measure will control the regular keyboard forward/back buttons etc. on your keyboard.

On Windows 10 + 11 you can have rudimentary control over your playing media using these keys, including youtube and iheart radio.

And you will get a momentarily visible volume bar on Win10 and Win11 using Media Key Shamelessly self-promoting :oops:
