Fix stability issues with ActionTimer plugin?

I've noticed that the rapid updating of ActionTimer or Lua can sometimes cause Rainmeter to crash. Is there anything that can be done to mitigate this issue? I know Jax has an issue with Lua, and I occasionally find a random crash from using the Wait command in ActionTimer.
