Open "Edit" to different program

Post by Sam12345 »

I have installed a new code editing program to my PC.
When opening skins to edit from the Rainmeter program, or by right clicking the skin and selecting edit, it opens in notepad.
Can this be changed?
I installed the code editor not long ago, do I wait for the registry to update?

Left click on the rainmeter icon in the tray, select the settings tab and put in your new editor.

You don't have to wait for the registry to be updated. It is updated right when you install the new editor, it doesn't take minutes, hours or days to update. See SilverAzide's and CyberTheWorm's reply above, I just wanted to clarify this thing.
