It should be noted that the latest versions of Microsoft Edge has a pretty sweet ability to force the web sites you visit to be in "dark mode".
Currently, to enable this in Edge, you go to the URL bar and type:
edge://flags/#enable-force-dark
Then Enable the setting and Edge will restart.
The site looks like this, which is not bad at all...

Hi jsmorley
It's cool !! for a "dark mode freak" as me.
And... I could set back to normal mode from the all flags setting page "edge://flags".
New Chromium version of the Edge seems to be epoch-making for me because it supports color matching as Chrome.

Re: Dark mode in Microsoft Edge
Just my opinion, but I think Microsoft is finally giving Chrome and Firefox a run for their money after all these years of basically being the poster child for bad browsers...

I use that for Firefox at home and Chrome at work, since IT clamped down on extensions so I can't use Tampermonkey anymore (which is totally understandable) but darkreader's approved.

Thanks for the tip. Works very well in Chrome and is giving my old tired eyes a well deserved rest.

Re: Dark mode in Microsoft Edge
Some more dark mode examples - it also has a number of variations in how it sets the colors, but 95%+ of the sites I've tried out work fine with the first option, and is easy enough to change to normal for the odd site out. I happened to be reloading Windows and cleaning out my drives anyways, so figured to try Edge, and have had no real complaints so far.

Re: Dark mode in Microsoft Edge
I have a question related to the dark mode: is it better in any way than the light mode? Does it have any advantages? Personally don't see any, but maybe I am missing something?

I use dark mode whenever possible as it is easier on my eyes. Even in the daytime.

Probably everyone with his own habit, but I prefer the light mode. I'm used with it and don't change.
