Make the Windows Live Calendar Gadget available for Rainmeter

Post by udobehm »

Hi, is someone able to create this Windows 7 gadget for Rainmeter: http://win10gadgets.com/windows-live-calendar/

It is basically able to add any web ics calendar and shows it in agenda view and when clicking on the calendar dates. I know that there is a Google Calendar gadget already that also integrates ics calendars. However it only allows to add Google calendars but I need my Outlook.com calendars and other ics calendars on the web to be shown. I pretty much like how the Windows Live Calendar gadget shows my appointments and would like having the same experience on Rainmeter.

In addition - if this is possible - I would like to get a Outlook Calendar gadget that shows all my calendars that I have on my Outlook calendar desktop app in the same style that the Windows Live Calendar gadget does.

Can anybody create such a Calendar skin for Rainmeter or tell me where to find it??

Thanks!

I doubt there is anyone able to do this, because I suppose that for such an action, the skin should log on into an account. But this isn't possible with WebParser measures, because of this (second paragraph).
However I will now promote a little bit one of my recently published works, the Mirage suite and its Calendar skin. It allows you to manually add events (either for certain date, or for the same date of every year) and holidays (through left, respectively right clicks to the dates of the calendar), then it warns you on the appropriate day, showing up a message. The skin doesn't use neither Google Calendar, nor other online calendar services, you have to manually add the events and holidays. If you want, give it a try.
