I do not know how to...

I am not sure about the location for the logs files or the error files.
However, I keep getting this error message from Windows 8.1 (and Windows 10 for that matter)

Ok. Well I just stepped out of my house. But, is there a way to figure out why the client quits. And how to fix it. At this point I don't even blame the .skin for this whatsoever.

I hear that the "BEX" means "Buffer Overflow Exception"... really not sure for an end-user as me. :-)

And I (and balala?) can't understand your situation at all.
For example, does this error message mean "Rainmeter crashes"? Or the error message appears without Rainmeter crash?
What is the meaning of "the client quits"? Client of what??
The error message appears on Rainmeter startup? Or at some moments after startup?
What skin(s) do you load on Rainmeter?

Sorry for too many questions, but necessary for understanding.

From my personal feeling, this situation is maybe caused by some skin (especially with third-party plugin) loaded on Rainmeter, but not by Rainmeter itself.
Could you do skin error verification procedure, for example.

Okey. Found the log. I thought it would get more developer file. It just give me information instead.
NOTE (20:42:23.605) SysDash-master\CPU\cpu.ini: Refreshing skin
NOTE (20:42:23.626) SysDash-master\Computer Info\computer info.ini: Refreshing skin
NOTE (20:42:23.650) SysDash-master\Network\network (with IPs).ini: Refreshing skin
NOTE (20:42:23.702) SysDash-master\RAM\ram.ini: Refreshing skin

And. Yes the application will just stop suddenly after some time.
It starts normally.
Like I said I do not blame the skin. This is a laptop problem. The Power Saving Mode will interfere with the program. I get that so far. As soon as the harddisk is going or waking from a timer and waking up from the powerdown mode. It most likely will work forever with regular computers. I also get the most time without errors when there are active torrents or videos playing.
It doesn't mean it's the harddisk. It could be anything on the power saving screen. CPU, Memory, Chipset, Harddisk, Temperature or Fan.

If you read this after the edit. The problem is this is a clean OS WIndows 8.1 and it has absolutely zero laptop drivers. It just works for me.

Hi Quell

If you have a conviction about cause of the issue as "This is a laptop problem. The Power Saving Mode will interfere with the program", not skin problem, I don't have what to say any further. So, I gave up and want to pass the baton to Rainmeter's developer team.

Sorry for my extra saying...how about the error when you unload the skin suite "SysDash-master"?

That was the new log file. The Windows error code, I hope is still the same as previous. I am also missing the Log panel from the Rainmeter manager anyways.
I might try the display settings for the monitor. Maybe the virtual monitor will avoid the problem. Right now I am closer to assume it is the screen saver that doesn't wake up the display properly. So if the rainmeter display settings are bad. I will try to change the screensaver. I could not change that in Windows 10. But, as I am using the Windows 8.1 I might.

because the power settings are interfering with the display drivers that the rainmeter relies on.
I don't know what to do. It's a consistent problem right now. I hate to have to restart the program all the time. And. I use the laptop with sleep, hibernate and screen turn off functions. I can't fix rainmeter. that's for sure.
As far as windows 10. that os is just complete trash. it's missing half the settings in the home version. there is no way i will upgrade. i don't support microsoft(personal trash) and the settings for the screen saver just don't work in their release. i certainly will not change windows 10.

Sorry, but I'm not sure what to advice you. Although I'm also using a laptop, also with sleep, hibernate and screen turn off, I don't have such issues.
