Skin positions problem

Post by 50l3r »

Hi guys,

I have problems with skins positions . All my skins have set in "desktop" but when i work with files in desktop like drag & drop, the skins overlap on top. I have latest version.

Hi. Does it happen with any other skin?

Did you try to set the skins' position as bottom : Image?

Do you have any mouse/keyboard control software running in the background like Logitech's SetPoint or any other like it?

You closed the programs but their services are left active. So, either
1. go to msconfig (Win key + R then type msconfig), go to "Services" tab, check "Hide all MS services" tab and uncheck all the services related to the programs ( Logitech Gaming Software and Razer Central). Then switch to the "Startup" tab and disable those programs from the startup. Save settings and restart the machine.

2. or just uninstal the 2 programs, restart the Machine and check does the issue still appear.

The main culprit should be the Logitech software but not sure about Razer since it has the same role.

I detect the software causing error restarting explorer.exe. It caused by Wallpaper Engine.

If you have any problem to uninstall Wallpaper Engine, you can take a look here to uninstall it for good:

My suggestion is to never use such a program. It takes a lot of the hardware resource just to see the raindrops or sth else moving on the desktop.
When the issue with explorer exactly started?

I told you one the most possible reason why it could happen. If you tried that everything and the trouble still exists, sorry, i don't know what else could cause it.
But qute sure it has nothing to do with Rainmeter. Also, try to change Windows version, update it. As we know, there were plenty of bugs in Windows, and some of them are still present.
