Tried to install and got this, not sure if it's a bug. Was able to do a manual install.

That's definitely not a bug. Just upgrade your Rainmeter, to a version of at least r3283 (best would be to upgrade to the latest 4.3 Final Release - r3298, available on https://www.rainmeter.net/).

He was on r3296, and it is complaining that it wants at least r3283, so that error is strange indeed. I downloaded and installed that .rmskin with no issue.

Right. Sorry indeed, I didn't notice he's on a newer version.
But I also installed the package with no problem, right now. Strange...

Seems like it's fixed with the release version of 4.3

Yes, but the version info says Rainmeter is on drive "E:" while from the screenshot, it looks like he is running the "skininstaller.exe" from drive "D:" installation, which is probably an older version of Rainmeter... :x

Edit: I see you got it working :thumbup:

No I was running 4.2 on the C drive and a portable version of 4.3 on the E drive for testing
