Some rainmeter plugins tend to be very resource intensive.
So, I believe it would be great to have a feature to pause rainmeter plugins automatically whenever an application is maximized or in fullscreen to minimize the impact on system performance.

I think a first approach would be to use jsmorley's IsFullScreen plugin, posted a half month ago.mingu2001 wrote:Some rainmeter plugins tend to be very resource intensive.

I dislike talking about far off things I have mentioned but not yet checked how plausible they may be, but this is something I personally have said I would like to do in the future.
But for the foreseeable future going with what Balala recommended is going to be the best option. Just have a measure that sets the skin updateRate to -1 when something is fullscreen.
