These are beautifully done, and I don't know how they were done. I imagine it must have been very difficult to get that kind of precision and that 3D look.
But I have a question, Is it possible to create them tilted at other angles, like equal to one's latitude?

made this with 3D Max Studio and i can roll the camera so that the globe is tilted

rendertime for the big globe is more than 2 hrs the small one less than 1 hrs
so i did 8 globes - 2 sizes and 4 colors
