Re: Tools! (From my TotalControl! Suite)
Just a post to thank you for this incredibly useful suite. Also, FYI, the tray popup has worked like a charm on all 3 Windows 8 releases I've used to date (8.0, 8.1 Preview, and 8.1 proper), and was a godsend when I downloaded it & assigned it a hotkey through AHK (I keep my taskbar permanently hidden, and the biggest drawback to doing so was the inability to interact with the system tray.)

Re: Tools! (From my TotalControl! Suite)
thanks for reminding me of this tool. it has one major benefit that is nice for my Pushbullet skin so yesterday i replaced an other tool i was using before. (so this would be the requested example skin):
http://customize.org/rainmeter/skins/65672682
unfortunately if you did not understand the documentation that came with the tool, i am not sure you will understand the skin. you are probably better off with RainFile: http://rainmeter.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=8990

Re: Tools! (From my TotalControl! Suite)
Sorry to resurrect this thread, I'm having a little problem with FolderBrowse WriteKeyValue.exe, using it a pop up window says:
"Autolt Error
Line 694 (File ""):
Error: "Else" statement with no matching "if" statement."
Probably I'm doing something wrong, and the readme isn't very clear on how to setup the string (at least for me...)
Another question, since I'm trying to substitute Rainfile: does FolderBrowse WriteKeyValue.exe refresh the skin(s) as Rainfile or not?
I'm trying to avoid a refresh of all the loaded skins at every change made by Rainfile...
Other than that, you've done a great job!

you'd just have to remove one (but better two) lines from the RainFile source.fonpaolo wrote: Another question, since I'm trying to substitute Rainfile: does FolderBrowse WriteKeyValue.exe refresh the skin(s) as Rainfile or not?

Many, many thanks!
You saved me from a lot of work and trials.
I was aware of those lines, it was declared in the file informations, however I'm unable to edit any program since I don't have any application for doing that.

Re: Tools! (From my TotalControl! Suite)
Thanks eclectic-tech for the link, now I only have to try to learn how to use it, my programming skills are very outdated...
For example, thanks to moshi, I have RainFile not refreshing everything, but now it can't refresh a skin since there's no way to tell to Rainmeter or to a skin when the file path is saved and consequently I can't refresh the skin.
Doh! ...a problem solved and another comes out.
