Re: Weather Skins Not Working - This is the only allowed thread about this
Nice work. Thanks for all your special effort.
My skin is now working, but I am getting an error in the log:
Weather & Sky\Weather & Sky.ini - [WEATHER.COMSuperParent] -- (Fetch error) The URL does not use a recognized protocol (ErrorCode=12006)
(I'm using WeatherComJSONMeasures5Day.inc)
Never mind -- I see the problem. I have included an inc file from xxenium, and his code still tries to use the old URL.

I will be posting an update to most of my weather skins sometime over this weekend, if time permits.

I'm beginning to question your priorities...eclectic-tech wrote: ↑August 1st, 2020, 12:28 am I will be posting an update to most of my weather skins sometime over this weekend, if time permits.

Excellent! That is the charm of the @Include .inc file approach. Isolating the "data" from the "display" really makes updating things a lot simpler.

Honestly, I was debating whether to continue to support ANY weather skins with all the changes at TWC this year... it can get depressing!
But seeing as I live a boring, retiring, uneventful, dull life (gosh, now I'm really depressed! ) ...
I can manage to fill my time supporting my skins and older skins for author who have moved on.

Hehe.. I do get a sinking feeling when I see a post that starts with "Weather skin...."eclectic-tech wrote: ↑August 1st, 2020, 1:19 am Honestly, I was debating whether to continue to support ANY weather skins with all the changes at TWC this year... it can get depressing!
