Hey guys,
Discovered Rainmeter a couple weeks ago and had one question:
See, I'm a fan of light, minimalistic computing, and my question is:
Is Rainmeter a resource hog, howmuch system resources does it need on a regular basis to work?
My system is:
Dell Vostro 1500 (it's a laptop) runnin XP SP3
Intel Core2Duo processor T7100 (1.80GHz)
2 GB of RAM

Well. I see a almost 1% usage of CPU and 13MB RAM.
You got more than enough power for rainmeter not to effect your your computer. It all depends on what skins you are using ofcourse, but in general - Rainmeter is by no means a resource hogger.

I don't think, therefore I'm not.

Thanks Chewtoy, 1% definitely sounds like it's worth trying. Yes I figured the skins would make a difference, I'll just have to read into that but it's a good start.Chewtoy wrote:Well. I see a almost 1% usage of CPU and 13MB RAM.
