My friends were talking about their desktops and referred me to Rainmeter. I've been playing with it for about a day and I'm very excited to be working with it. I have a simple setup now, but I'd like to do something more elaborate later, so you may see me off and on asking questions.

In XP I always right clikck the desktop go to View and uncheck Show Icons.
