How can I make my rainmeter look like this?

Post by Fizzle »

I just got windows 7 and am new with Rainmeter. I've been tinkering with it for an hour or so, but I just can't seem to get the hang of it. I want to make my rainmeter look like this (Pictured), it would be spiffy. :D But yeah, I don't know what to do at all. D:

I don't know if this is the right place, so I apologize in advance if I'm wrong. Thanks for any help you can give me :D

This screenshot consists of the following skins, all of which come with the installation of rainmeter:
\Skins\Enigma\Sidebar\Calendar\Calendar.ini
\Skins\Enigma\Sidebar\Network\Network.ini
\Skins\Arcs\Arcs.ini
\Skins\Enigma\Sidebar\Systems\Systems.ini
\Skins\Enigma\Sidebar\Reader\Gmail-Reader\ReaderGmail.ini
\Skins\Enigma\Sidebar\Reader\RSS-Reader\ReaderRSS.ini
\Skins\Enigma\Taskbar\MoxaWeather\MoxaWeather-3Days-Vertical.ini
\Skins\Enigma\Sidebar\Music\Music.ini

The launchers e.g iTunes Music, Chrome Net and so on are in this folder:
\Skins\Enigma\Taskbar\Launcher\

I do not know the wallpaper that they are using or what those little white bars above the calendar are.

If you have windows 7 (Maybe vista) right click your taskbar, go to properties and change "taskbar location on screen" to left to put your taskbar where it is shown in the screenshot. You should be able to move the skins around where you want them.
Away for a while :(

If you want that exact wallpaper you can try going to http://www.tineye.com and uploading the image you have there. It should find the closest match it can. Hopefully without rainmeter or the taskbar.

I checked for the image on that website and it said "0 results found" lower down on the page it said

The person who posted the idea for TinyEye probably hoped the image was close enough to the original that TinyEye would consider it just the background, minus Rainmeter and such. (I believe it checks for minor alterations)

The person wasn't suggesting looking for Rainmeter skins through TinyEye.
