RSS/Weather not working despite firewall fixes

Hey all,

I just installed rainmeter on my windows 7 x64. I am currently using the enigma skin and not having any luck getting any online function to work.

These are the steps I have taken

1. Windows Defender: added the programs/rainmeter folder as an exception
2. Avast! Anti Virus Free: added the programs/rainmeter folder as an exception
3. Firewall: Tried both adding the rainmeter folder and DISABLING entirely.

I am out of ideas and come to you guys humbly for help. This is a fresh install, and I am able to access the sites for the RSS/Weather Via firefox. I am using the enigma skin.

I have tried both 1.2 and currently running 1.3 to see if it would help (still same problems)...

Well I found a fix. It was apparently a problem with my winsock.

Going to command in windows as an administrator and typing:

netsh winsock reset

Fixed my problem. Everything si working GREAT. TY
