You have already asked this question in "Introductions" and are always welcome to create a post in "Rainmeter Help" to ask for advice on any issue, but you will now stop hijacking threads to ask this over and over. If someone feels that they can help you they will, do not just look for an active thread and hijack it. I have moved this post and my reply to its own thread in "Rainmeter Help".

As to your question, there is no Rainmeter "howto" as such, and nothing in the default Rainmeter installation creates any .txt files, and certainly not "folders" with .txt, so I personally have no idea what you have or are doing. I would recommend uninstalling Rainmeter, then getting the latest version from http://Rainmeter.net and install it taking all defaults. It should then work fine. If you have questions once you install it, I suggest starting with http://rainmeter.net/cms/Rainmeter101 and after you have read that feel free to come here and post in "Rainmeter Help" with specific questions.
