Cant get Rainmeter to work properly

Hello, I am completely new to this and I need some serious help. I was tinkering around with Rainmeter and i found a calendar skin to use for it. I installed it and at some point i wasnt able to configure it so i decided to unistall Rainmeter thinking i could try again, but when i reinstalled it, it said to update the arcs and enigma itself but when i tried doing it, it couldnt find the config file (oh and the shortcuts for some of my programs changed to that file icon) and it couldnt back it up because the config folder or file wasnt there. If anyone can help me figure out what happened and how to fix it, I would be eternally thankful. EDIT: I am running Windows 7 and was using Rainmeter 1.2
