Weather

Post by Evan »

Hey Guys.

I'm fairly new to rainmeter, and not all that great with computers in general. I love the look of rainmeter, and it's really useful, so I would love it if anyone could help me figure out how to use it.

My current problem:

I'm trying to set up moxaweather to show me weather for today and the next four days, but I'm completely lost. I don't know how to find my weather code, which I believe I'm supposed to do, and even if I did find it, I wouldn't know what to do with it.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Go to http://weather.yahoo.com and search for your location. Once you find it, there should be an orange "RSS" button on the right. Click that and look at the URL of the page. It should end with something like "p=XXXX9999&u=f", where "XXXX9999" is your weather code. Then just open Enigma's configure tool by right-clicking the tray icon and choosing Configs > Enigma > Resources > Configuration.ini and change the "WeatherCode" option to your weather code. Click "Set Value" then "Save All" and refresh your weather skin.
