Tutorials don't work?

I was playing around with the first tutorial and tried to run it and it wouldn't work. I also tried downloading the completed version and running with no success.

Is there something I need to do that isn't said in this tutorial to make my skin run?

No, the tutorial tells you exactly what you need to do. What happens when you try to run it? Do you get an error message? Does nothing happen? Have you created the skin in the correct place? After creating the skin did you right-click the tray-icon and select "Refresh All"?

I need more information than "it doesn't work".

I, somehow, got it working.

But what was happening was when I clicked on "Load Skin" nothing happened and I still had the option to Load Skin. It works now, maybe I was doing something wrong. Who knows. Thanks for the response anywho.

Always be sure to do a 'Refresh all' when adding skins.
Rainbroswser will see them, but rainmeter won't unless you make it re-read the skins folder.
