MSI Afterburner (yet another one) about max fps setting.

Post by CodeCode »

Hi,
I have a FPS skin, that uses MSIAfterburner. I have gone into MSIA and set the FrameRate to checked, with a max fps set at 200.

Thing is not too long ago, the fps was reporting in the 0-200 range.

But now it seems to be pegged at 60 fps - that is to say the max value being reported never going over 60.

Has something changed with MSIA or RTSS - I recently DL'd the latest exe's.

Thsnks.

I realised what changed - my monitor. The current one is only capable of 60Hz.

Thus the cap. Bummer.

This mostly says what you also found out, but maybe it will give you some ideas about somehow circumventing this, if possible, of course.
