In this case, the font Kozuka Mincho Pr6N R uses the family name of Kozuka Mincho Pr6N (note the missing "R" at the end). The "R" represents the "Sub Family" property of the font in this case.

So, if you remove the "R" from the inline setting, it should work fine.

Code: Select all

[MeterLOC2]
Meter=String
MeterStyle=TextStyle
FontSize=15
Y=30
InlineSetting=Face | Kozuka Mincho Pr6N
InlinePattern=[\x2600]TEst
Text=London [\x2600]TEst N4
It sure isn't easy to get the proper "Family Name" of a font, which is often times different than the actual name of the font file.

This is an excellent tool for finding the right family names and more about a font than you ever wanted to know...

Yeah, that is the tool I used to get the family name. It's not super user friendly, but probably the best option we have.

Apols if everyone already knows this, but I just found a perfect solution. calligraphr.com allows you to make free fonts and you just download a png template, put it in photoshop/inkscape etc, make whatever icons or symbols you want correspond with whatever letters/numbers you want, then upload the template and generate and save the font. Then you can use your own font in the inline settings.
