do you have those fonts installed on your machine?
Zero at programing, zero at writing codes, so far 2 at making images
But I'm good at copy/paste, and I not always like this

What version of Rainmeter? What skin(s) are you loading?

If you are loading the default Enigma skins, this sounds like an issue where the UserVariables.inc file is unable to be loaded for some reason, and FontSizes are being set to an invalid size, namely zero.

i am using rainmeter version 1.1, 32bit. umm not sure about the defaults because when i start it up, the error comes up about 2 or 3 times than all the standards would work. so im not sure about that.
i try to use addon skins under the folder simplemeter v1.2
in the simple meter pack i try to use the clock, calendar, music player, all functions of system... and basicllay the whole thing just dosent work.
if you want heres the link so you can check it out and see if its not just me

Aside from one error regarding a missing CoreTemp plugin (I'm on Win7 so that won't work for me) it all works just fine.

I think it would be helpful if you went through this: http://rainmeter.net/cms/Rainmeter101 with careful attention paid to the "Installing Skins" section.

I just have Rainmeter 1.2 installed using the installer package to the default locations. I downloaded that suite from your provided link, unzipped it and put the entire folder in C:\Users\Jeffrey Morley\My Documents\Rainmeter\Skins. Then loaded RainBroswer, did a "Refresh All" of Rainmeter and started loading the new skins. All worked fine.

is there something missing or am i being stupid.

The default font of skin is tahoma, does it works with that?
you could also try restarting rainmeter, on my machine it works fine

You have either a serious problem with Windows (unlikely) or a serious problem with how Rainmeter is installed.

You might try this just to be sure:
