it can't find my Audio source?
There are too many refreshes of the skin in less than a second: for instance the monstercat-visualizer\visualizer.ini skin is refreshed at 13:12:14.269, 13:12:16.293, 13:12:16.491, 13:12:16.781 and 13:12:16.980. Five refreshes and from these four have happend in less than a second.
How did you do this? And especially, why? I suppose it's not done manually, but how then? Anyway such a frequent refresh for sure can hang Rainmeter.
Try rebooting and leave a little bit the skin. Don't refresh it continously and check not to get it refreshed (by the code itself or something and for this follow the log). I'm not sure this helps, but maybe it worth a try.

So I unloaded the skin, restarted my PC, loaded it back, deleted the log, and I clicked "change audio source" and set it to default in the settings, this is what I got in the new log

Something is continouosly refreshint your skins. See that this time you got refreshes of the monstercat-visualizer\visualizer.ini skin at 14:42:20.471, 14:42:20.849, 14:42:21.290 and 14:42:21.652, so four times approximatively in a second. Too much. We should figure out what is causing this, because it for sure is not done manually.
First unload all skins, excepting monstercat-visualizer\visualizer.ini. Make sure all others are unloaded, by chacking in Manage Rainmeter: click the Rainmeter icon in the Notification Area and in the opening Manage Rainmeter window click the Active skins button. You get a list of the loaded skins. Leave loaded only the monstercat-visualizer\visualizer.ini skin, unload all others and check the Log. Do you still have the frequent refreses?

I don't know, because I don't know what the YTMusic Desktop is. Is it a Rainmeter skin? If it is try unloading it, If it's not, try closing it, Then check the log once again. Do the refreshes occur?

The multiple refresh bangs are "Normal" for all visualizer skins (like Monster-Cat) that create measures/meters on-demand when the skin is loaded or settings are changed. They use scripts to write the included files and then refresh the skin.

The log already shows the problem: "cannot find audio device...". This is probably caused by a program on the computer having exclusive control of the audio; if the plugin cannot find the device, how is it ever going to work?

Look into this (not refreshes) and it is possible that the plugin will not be able to detect a specialized HDMI audio device and never work.

Aha, right. Makes sense, however four times per second? It's a little bit too much.
But yes, you probably are right about exclusive control over the audio device.

What is this? It's a message in Rainmeter log? Is the skin working now if you disabled the exclusive control?
