Huh.... Try saving as "Unicode" instead. I got an error with big endian as well.
Unicode and UTF-8 works great. It's just Big endian that's posing a problem.
I don't think, therefore I'm not.

Yea Im having the exact same problem as pei =/
Im pretty noob at rainmeter, but could someone tell me which file to post that code into, and where? Thanks!

Found something like this, but it seems like it's a patch for v1.1 =/

I did some testing and i think i know the problem. This becouse of additional plugins installed in Winamp. Maybe they were unproperly installed or registered in regsvr32 if required.
~ To those who have same problem - Try to reinstall winamp without any external plugin. Today i have installed newest winamp and my skin worked fine with hieroglyphics but when i added some plugin...no hieroglyphics ( only ????

edit: nevermind, I reinstalled winamp once again. except this time i took the effort to check off the components. works now! thanks! :)

edit2: also i think i've found the plug-in that messes it up. it's the nowplaying for personal msg on msn. http://www.myplugins.info/msn-messenger-plugin.php when i installed that plug-in it changes the title on rainmeter. :\
