Hey all,
I'm getting into rainmeter and loving it but I'm experiencing an issue where some skins leave some graphical artifacts on my screen. Check this video to see what I mean:

This also happens with clocks, when the time changes, it leaves behind the old time underneath.
I have a good computer with a good cpu, gpu and lots of ram, and my video drivers are all up to date.
Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!

Re: Visual Lag Help
My first thought is that the hardware acceleration is turned on. If this is right, please try turning it of (take care, requires a complete restart of Rainmeter!) and retry all those skins.sriversage wrote: ↑February 7th, 2020, 9:28 am I'm getting into rainmeter and loving it but I'm experiencing an issue where some skins leave some graphical artifacts on my screen. Re: Visual Lag Help
This worked! Thanks so much
Would you mind giving me a quick explanation for why hardware acceleration causes that?
Thanks again!

I'm not sure why, however hardware acceleration, if the driver of video card is not properly updated, in many cases causes such issues. For instance: https://forum.rainmeter.net/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=34009#p168220sriversage wrote: ↑February 7th, 2020, 5:29 pm Would you mind giving me a quick explanation for why hardware acceleration causes that?
