As you can see, the bin is empty but it still shows the infos of the previous element that was in it.
I don't see that the bin is empty at all. I see that it has one item in it.

Uhm, if you see, I open the bin and it shows nothing.

Well, I'm stumped. Your code, exactly as it is, works fine for me. If I delete something, I get a count and size on the skin, if I right click and agree to empty the bin, it changes to 0 count and 0.0 size.

I would be tempted to run Windows Disk Cleanup tool, and let it ensure the recycle bin is properly empty. Maybe you have some kind of corrupted invisible file that has gotten stuck in there.

Yeah that might be it, thanks though.

Fix & repair corrupted Windows 10 recycle bin

Here are some fixes that you can try to repair corrupted recycle bin in Windows 10/8.1/8/7:

Run CMD to fix corrupted Windows 10 recycle bin

1. Go to Start > Click All Programs > Accessories;
2. Right-click Command Prompt > Select "run cmd as administrator".
3. Type: rd /s /q C:\$Recycle.bin and hit Enter.
4. Do this for each drive.
5. Reboot computer and then you can reuse the Recycle Bin again.

If this doesn't work, open cmd window again and type: sfc / scannow > Enter.
System File Checker will check and fix the problem for you.

Tried both, didn't fix the issue. I guess it's not related to any of that. :/

Can't say I have ever run into this in all my years of using Windows. I assume if you put the normal Windows Recycle Bin icon on the desktop, it also shows "full" all the time?

I figured it out. Windows couldn't detect if the bin was empty or not because I once set an invisible icon to both the full and empty bins before I knew I could simply hide the bin, I restored the original icons and now it works. I can't believe how stupid that was :D
