Visualizers aren't working...

Boomer112 » November 20th, 2017, 6:34 pm

Visualizers worked perfectly fine on my old PC without any changes to anything. Now on my new PC it doesn't work. I've tried re-installing Rainmeter, and restarting my PC and none of those 2 worked. Anyone knows the issue? It really annoys me and i want it to get fixed ASAP.

A while ago Active Colors has posted a very good AudioLevel plugin troubleshooter, available here: https://forum.rainmeter.net/viewtopic.php?p=123883#p123883
There also a few threads discussing this issue, which seems to be very common lately. For example:

I'm not sure which one of these threads could help you, study them a bit. Probably Active Colors's troubleshooter.

Welp i didn't even need to check all of it. I just found the issue... It seems like Rainmeter isn't compatible with Nahimic 2 which is the software for my soundcard if i remember correctly. That means i can't have bass boosted music. :c Well it honestly doesn't really matter.

Nahimic takes exclusive control of the audio, so unless you really want Nahimic's features, I know of several users who uninstalled Nahimic; now all visualizer work for them. You should be able to re-install Nahimic if you change your mind.
