Hi all
I'm currently using Rainmeter to monitor system performance. However My top process and drive access skin arent showing any values anymore without changing anything to the skin or application settings. My guess is that the latest windows update is causing this. I tried uninstaling some of the latest updates without success. However there are some updates that windows doens't allow to be uninstalled.
Anyone has this problem? Any known fix? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

No, this has nothing to do with Windows updates... No way.Berle53 wrote:Hi all

While rare, it is possible for the database of "counters" that is maintained by Performance Monitor in Windows to become damaged, which will cause the Perfmon plugin to stop functioning correctly.
In many cases, this can be corrected by "rebuilding" the database from the Windows command line.
Run cmd.exe, being sure to run "As administrator". At the command line, enter the following commands in order:
cd c:\windows\system32
lodctr /R
cd c:\windows\sysWOW64
lodctr /R
You should see the following results:
Info: Successfully rebuilt performance counter setting from system backup store
